Maps of the Front Copy

Suggestions for the bas-relief

I am suggesting a general map of the Western Front as it show the many sites where the majority of the 60,000 soldiers who trained at Featherston went on to fight on the front. Similar maps are on display throughout France and Belgium some general and some battle specific. 12,483 New Zealanders died in France and Belgium and many more were wounded, some multiple times and some never fully recovered.  Possibly figures could be included in the relief.

I include an attachment as an example of a Map. It needs to be expanded to cover Northern France for Arras, etc.  Possibly there could be more maps one to cover and Palestine – the military experts would know. The photo of the map is of page 210 The New Zealand War Experience at Gallipoli and the Western Front Matthew Wright with a Foreword by Chris Pugsley.
